Li Ansefelt Thornton was born and raised in a small town in Sweden. Her summers were spent traveling with her family throughout most of Southern Europe where she was fascinated by the gorgeous architecture and beautiful art. The beauty of this art made a lasting impression on Li, and the camera became her tool for expressing herself.

Once Li received her first camera, a small Kodak, at the age of 9 she never left home without it.

During High School Li took photo as an elective, and started taking pictures of everything from trees to classmates. Li’s stepfather was a great inspiration, and taught her what to look for when composing a photo, and how to let the light and background be her guide. One of Li’s greatest passions is taking outdoor photos, where the daylight seems to give all objects a soft natural light and a sense of life.

 
   Li has a background in B/W photography, photo developing & dark room, portrait photography and photo creativity education.

 
    Whether you’re having a birthday, getting engaged or any other special occasion, Li will travel to your Oahu, Hawai`i location to capture memories that will last a lifetime.
